It is run by th National Parks Service.There are numerous burial mounds of the Hopewell Indians,There is a a museum with audiovisual exhibits.
Them we drove to Adams County,Ohio to see the Big Serpent Mound.It is several hours drive.Along the way you could encounter Amish horse and buggy in the road.
It is big effigy mound made by the Fort Ancient Indians thousand of years ago.
There is a climbing platform you could climb to see the serpent effigy.
There is a pathway around the effigy you could walk.
There is also a museum.
Then drove to Wheeling,West Virginia and stayed in Comfort Inn Hotel for the night.
