Arrived in the afternoon and stayed at the MGM Grand Hotel.The hotel price is low because it is not a weekend..MGM Hotel is the biggest hotel in the world about 7700 rooms.It has a greenish exterior glow at night.
We ate in their buffett dinner.We saw 2 lions in Lions Habitat, a see thru tunnel walkway in the lobby of the hotel.
We took the public bus to downtown Las Vegas to see the Fremont Street Experience.
It is a 5 block pedestrian mall covered by steel arch canopy filled with lights contolled by a computers.It is a sound and light show.After,the show went to the Golden Nugget to see the biggest gold nugget in the world.
Took again the bus to the Stratosphere.It is a tapered tower bldg with casino as it base and a panoramic viewing deck on top.There are also thrill rides on the top.
Went to the Wynn casino by bus.It has flower decor in its floor and atypical luxurious decor and cost 2.7 billion dollars to built.The free attraction is the Lake of Dreams.It is an image and sound show projected in a man made waterfall,lake and mountain.It is quirky.bizarre and an eye candy.
Back to MGM hotel by bus.
