A month after finishing work with various, drinks, dinners, coffees and chats in County Limerick, Claire, Galway. Followed by London, Leeds, Norwich, Brixton, Brighton, and Croydon. Already fed up of packing and unpacking my rucksack I traded it in for a 60 liter one, because I can really carry that much! Then like a tearful tortoise, (you'd think I'd be use to saying goodbye by now) made my way to Heathrow!
Obviously being my organised self I had to make a quick cholera dash to Victoria via several late night chemists ( I'm still convinced you only need cholera for concentration camps so will get my moneys worth by visiting one some time).
Any way... I digress...
Opting for the hassle free option of a single, but long, bus all the way to Heathrow I made the most of having a phone chatting away to Lucy about my nights dream being 'a sign' .....
Crash!!!!
Yes the bus driver seemingly couldn't see a stack of paving slabs and rammed straight into them. The bus doors went into automatic lock down, the driver couldn't understand English and the Drama queen of a passenger called the police who wouldn't help if we didn't require medical assistance.
Que moi...
Bursting into tears an ambulance was called for shock and a blanket wrapped over my shoulders - (I had a huge rucksack and even I wasn't carrying a blanket).
Despite the 'small print' flash backs, of my travel insurances I was determined to beat the ambulance and get that plane.
My train then canceled worried me again but the ever trusty London Paper star sign, set me straight and with a little help from some friends bubbles in hand and tears in eyes I took to the sky.
In the safety of Virgin, too excited to sleep, too worried to stay awake, I drank all and anything available, often in double quantities, laughed loudly at "My best friends girl" (highly recommended) and passed out for 10mins before landing in 'Incredible India'  with a huge smile on my face and a new 'After India Plan' in mind!
