so with zero sleep we board. and as usual, I am dead during travel--I slept the entire flight, only awake a little later to see Phuket, in a birds view.
*Phuket, Thailand has a 1 hour difference from SG.
8:55AM: Touchdown!
Hello again, Thailand! This time Phuket. I have been dreaming of you since forever. Finally! How beautful, how sunny! I feared for rain at this time of month, but hello beautiful weather--prayers answered for a smiling sun, and a playful wind:)
10:00AM:
We booked an airport transfer, believe me it's better that way. I don't want to be inconvenienced at all. If I splurge on anything, it's on a transfer.
Check into the hotel. A very nice cozy and convenient inn. Patong Inn Hotel. Although it's small, you can see that the bed, the toilet are of nice class.
It is perfect, right in front of Patong beach, below are the souvenir shops, a hoard of massage parlors. I never picked a more perfect spot, cause just a round the corner is Bangla Road. The Party Spot. (In another write up) As well as food hawkers, seafood, fast-food, Mexican...and it is just a few blocks away from the mall.
I am not a hotel person--I do not invest on 4-stars. Because I rarely stay at the hotel anyway. As long as there is good plumbing, clean sheets--I'm in. So the cheapest, the most convenient--the better! And yep Patong Inn Hotel is just that.

I had my dental appointment, I had my teeth whitened in Patong, yes cheap and of good quality. At SEA SMILE Dental Clinic.
The rest of the day?? We were bumming out at the beach.
Yep, I spent a whole afternoon at the beach. Believe it or not--doing absolutely NOTHING. What a treat! Nothing but the wind on my face, club music on my X-Mini, as I slowly watch the sky turn from blue to the most amazing colors of sunset.
*Phuket: Surprisingly cheaper than Boracay. Amazing temperatures in May. Tons of food and smiling faces.
And I said to myself..what a wonderful world. :)
