Last day at work: Tickets printed out, backpack ready..now, I couldn't stop staring at the clock. I am itching to get out of here. No work will be done today, just a heart full of longing and yearning...to push the time to 5:00PM.
It feels like an eternity before I have to get up from my desk and just fly away from the real world. Vacations. Always a cure for the weary. I just want to be offline and out of coverage area, hit the shut down button, and close my laptop.
My soul has been ready to check-in at the airport weeks weeks back. Going home. It's always as nice as the first time.
5:30PM:
I bid adieu to the world, as I go OFFLINE and OUT OF COVERAGE AREA. Lord, knows I could use some noiseless moment where I turn off my phone, and not even look at my watch.
These are my MUST-BRINGs on my every trip. My beautiful Sony NEX 3 "Bree", my "Island Girl" iPod, and my Olympus TG-310 "Nymph", a Travel Journal (Yes, Assuming I'm one of the revered National Geographic Explorers), Passport and some cash.

My favourite feeling of all? Is when the plane takes off...and when it's wheels touch the Motherland. Then, I'm home. :)
