During my time in Rome I ventured out to visit Florence for a couple nights. I have learned that McDonalds Restaurants are awesome to have located throughout Europe BECAUSE, Free washrooms!! I hate paying to use the washroom. I refuse to pay .50 euro at the train station, but will pay 9 Euro for ice cream?? Sometimes I question my stubbornness. That expensive ice cream was the result of wanting before knowing the price... I found Florence being alright...nothing spectacular or super fun, just nice to look at. The streets are again fairly narrow with many statues and pieces of art. Lots of pizza, pasta and ice cream shops. The food is delicious however, the ice cream doesn't seem to taste of anything special for me..

I really enjoy zooming across the landscape in high speed trains, there is however one problem associated with the high speeds tho. There are many tunnels, and as the trains pass through these tunnels the pressurize it and your ears constantly need to be "popped", kinda annoying after awhile.

My first challenge involved a wrong turn because the Hostel wrote in their directions to turn left at a specific point WHEN it should have wrote turn right! I confronted them with this just to ensure I am indeed not just loosing it, and I was correct. I think exhaustion is finally catching up with me, I am usually the last out of bed, always falling asleep on train, subway and basically anytime there are more than 5 minutes of quiet. I think all the walking I do plays a large role, and im sure some of the late nights partying don't help!  Whatever english skills I previously had are starting to diminish aswell. I find myself unable to speak normal at times, I figure due to having to simplify my english to the point of sounding like a caveman just to communicate with people. This new way of speaking is starting to become a habit, so as I return home I may need to go back to school.

As I was walking to my hostel, I noticed something on the road. It was a black purse. At first I was not sure what to do, do I take it, leave it incase they return. I even wondered if it was a test or a bomb. I decided to just place it beside the light post and carryon. After walking a block I changed my mind, I saw keys and a purse inside with id and cash so I went back and manned up and carried it across the street infront of all the cars waiting at the light. Once at the hostel a phone started to ring, I gave it to Michela (Worked at Hostel) and she spoke. Apparently in most situations when something like this is found it would just be kept by the finder. I however, strongly beleave in Karma and did not take anything from the purse, just snooped! Girls sister came later, picked up purse and nooo reward! No problem tho since it wasn't a hastle for me. Michela was very upset with the girl tho! My days where lifted and joyed by Michela a young beautiful woman from Romania and by night Danny provided all the comedy and entertainment one could require. (also from Romania) My hostel did have a sweet bed.

I can't seem to remember too much more of Florence so I will leave the photos to describe the rest...
