So its our last time in Lima so we decided to do something other than to eat sushi, and gamble. This time we actually made the trip to the Centro area. We went to the Inquisition Museum, which is free, and shows the Spanish forcing the locals to become Catholic. We were there on a day where there was only a Spanish speaking guide so we didn't understand much, but we understood the torture room! While we were int the Centro we also went to see a movie in a crappy little theater. It was so ghetto it had a hallway through the middle of the theater (which we thought would be closed during the movie!). So people and mostly workers were walking in front of us the whole time. We also went to the Artist markets in Miraflores. It is a little overwhelming because the second you look at something the sales person is throwing 10 other things at us!
The second we stepped into Peru we noticed a difference in the people. They are so honest and kind. We feel they are definitely the friendliest people in South America (out of the places we have been of course).
