Made it. Arriving late, had managed to meet up with my friends i had met right at the start of my Turkish adventure and randomly had travelled with all the way down to Mykonos. We find a 4 Euro b.packers which ends up being the best place in all of Mykonos to stay. It had a club (right on the beach) which was only a throw from our place, and it was by far the biggest most ritzy thing i had ever seen. There were eight bars and a pool with massive dance floor right next to where the dj plays, poolside. You just had to be there seriously. It was awesome.
The mossies that night did not be so cool as this place. We shared a tent style cabin and could see why it was cheap. Didnt matter too much cos we cabbed it into town at midnight when we arrived from the ferry and found heaps of nightlife. These typically white cobble stone lanes and blue and white everything. Tiny lanes that only fit one person at a time leading down to nowhere it seems, open to massive amounts of bars and �discotech�s�as the europeans call it. Jam packed with backpacker meat markets. Not my scene, getting trashed and ending up talking crap with random drunks. Maybe i�m maturing. Came to Mykonos, partied on Mykonos but am ready for more islands..
