I'm sorry that there was no blog entry yesterday but I just did not feel like writing it after all the driving. So, I decided to incorporate it with my plans for today. However, now I don't really feel like writing it either because I just wrote a large portion then it accidentally got deleted. It was not so fun. Oh well, allow me to move on.

Yesterday was a very good day. It began with breakfast at Tim Horton's with Karyn. We decided to eat here because I was heading back to the south where they don't have any so I needed to spend all the time I could there. We both enjoyed some bagel combos and I learned that you can substitute the healthy side of an apple or muffin for something unhealthy like a donut. So I got a maple dip but saved about half of it for later on the drive. Then I hit the road. I only drove about an hour before I stopped at another Tim Horton's because it was the last one before the long stretch of nothing to Charleston, WV. I got some timbits and a donut for Lindsey so I could introduce her to my Canadian heritage, even thought it was actually from Ohio.

Then it was a lot of driving. I left about 11 am and arrived at 6:30 pm so it was about a 7 hour drive with about a half hour added for stops. I had one stop that was a bit of an interesting story. I had decided I was not stopping at the Tamarack because I always do and I always don't like the sub I get from Quiznos. So, I decided I would find a Subway to stop at. Right after passing Charleston, I was still about 45 minutes from the Tamarack and I was getting hungry. Then I saw a billboard for an Exxon with a Subway in it. Usually I avoid these but me and Tiffany had stopped at one that was actually nice so I thought it might be OK. I decided to give it a try because I could use some gas too. The billboard advertised that it had "Clean Restrooms," "East return to the highway" and that it was open 24 hours. These things were all true but they left out a few details. For instance, the restrooms were clean but they were also very creepy and very, very small. It was easy to get back to the highway but it was not easy to get to it from the highway. So, I was a little scared by the place and the bikers around it and took my sub to go. I didn't even get gas. I decided it would be best just to take advantage of its easy return to the highway.

The rest of the drive was fairly typical. I drove past "Jesus in the Hills camp" again and over Nicely bridge that goes over Cowpasture river. I took a different route than before so that was interesting. But Daniel got me here safe and sound so that was good.

After arriving at Barb's house we enjoyed a lovely dinner and then ate some ice cream while watching the movie "Up." It was very interesting to watch it with Barb and Lindsey because they get very into it. They scream and get scared. It's very entertaining. Oh and the movie was good too.

Today, my plan is to try to get some stuff done that I have not been able to in the last few days. I have some stuff to finish for these Liberty people and then I have some more jobs to apply for. I am planning to probably go to the North Food Court for lunch if it's still open and maybe meet up with Barb and Lindsey for dinner. My plans in the evening are to spend time with the girls and decide if I am leaving tomorrow or Friday. Sometime I need to head down to Andrew's house to attend Amanda's wedding on the weekend. I should take lots of time to get work done but I will have a chance to do that next week when I am still at Andrew's house and he has started his new job. Maybe I can apply to work there too and start working the same day. Well I guess I can't do that but it was a good idea.

Anyways, have a good day, my dear followers. I will update you tomorrow on any new exciting events. Have a wonderful day!
