Hey Team.

I am back in Buenos Aires for the 3rd time this
trip.  My good friend Trevor took a week off of work to come and
hang out in South America. Since he didn´t have much time, we were on
the go almost non stop.  We started his trip off with a
proper night of Buenos Aires clubbing.  The city is obsessed with
going to clubs and the whole club culture.  People generally eat
dinner around 10 at night, lay down for a nap until about 1 am, then
meet their friends and head to the clubs around 2 or 2.30.  It is
not uncommon for the parties to last til 9 in the morning when everyone
goes home and has something to eat and then sleeps the whole day (most
windows are equipped with blackout shades.)

So after a
couple days in Buenos Aires, we caught a 23 hour bus to the triple
border region between Paraguay, Brazil, and Argentina where the
impressive Iguazu Falls are located. Picture Niagra Falls in the middle
of the rainforest and that´s what you got, they are amazing.  We
spent a couple days up in the area, hanging out at our great hostel and
then jumped on a bus to the city of Córdoba.  20 hours later we
got there,  got set up in the hostel and again, explored the
city´s nightlife as it is the big attraction.  We met some great
people in the city, but had to move on again.  We jumped on
another overnight bus to Buenos Aires where we would hang out before
Trevor left.  Overall it was a tiring experience, but we saw a lot
of Argentina in a short amount of time. It was great to have an old
friend with me that i could joke and laugh with as it had been a while
since I had seen a familiar face.

Last weekend I got the opportunity to witness one of the world´s great
sporting events, The Super Classic, Boca Juniors versus River Plate,
the two largest and most important soccer clubs in Argentina.  The
game was on a Sunday afternoon, and it felt like going to a superbowl
or something of that magnitude. The atmosphere was everything you could
imagine to see at a Latin American soccer match and the fans were
great, loud, and crazy.  The home team, Boca, won and that made
for an even more amazing experience.

For now, I am going
through the requirements to get a tourist visa for Brazil and exploring
Buenos Aires. It is a beautiful city and I am enjoying my time here,
and most especially enjoying being settled in one place for a change. I
will be trying to go to Uruguay next week if I can get my visa taken
care of this week. I am extremely glad that I got to spend an extended
amount of time in this great city. If you can, I highly recommend
coming down here, hanging out, drinking lots of good wine, eating lots
of good steaks, and enjoying the awesome people and culture.
