On our way back to Barcelona, we stopped in Tarragona, a city known for its ancient Roman ruins....but perhaps more numerous, were the city's stray cats. By this point in our trip, we were a little drained. We spent two nights here, and during the day we enjoyed lazily walking through the old town, gazing at the ruins, and enjoying the city's beautiful ocean views.
 
Back in Barcelona, we enjoyed an extra night at our airline's expense due to snow in Paris. Our flight was canceled for what appeared to be no more than 2 inches of snow.  We were happy to have one more night along the Mediterranean, and enjoyed a free night's accommodation, 3 course meal and bottle of wine.
