Day 23: Spent a rainy morning walking around Belfast. Bought $100 worth of rain gear and bug repellant (backpack covers, new umbrellas, mosquito head nets, and bite relievers.) Had an extremely long walk to ferry port which had been relocated 2 miles farther than expected. Torrential rain and wind. Sloshed by passing semi trucks. Totally drenched. A taxi stopped for us and gave us a free ride as we were nearing the entrance!! Watched the Olympics on the ferry and arrived in Stranraer, Scotland. Ran to catch a train and ended up in Glasgow central station. Needed to keep heading north to camp, explored the city as we walked through the city to another train station. Arrived in Fort William, and set up camp near Ben Nevis Mountain.
