Phil and I left Boston just after noon,
which I was very impressed with since that's what we were shooting for. We had a nice, easy drive to Niagra today.
We got into the hostel around 9 pm and used the amazing GPS (thanks dad for letting me borrow yours, it's a life saver!!) to locate supermarkets, which were all closed.
I can't imagine this trip without the GPS, it would have been so hard to get directions to everything.
We got something to eat
and were amazed by the atmosphere here. It's nothing like what I would have expected! It was mobbed with people and there's so much here. It's almost like a mini vegas, who knew? We visited the falls tonight, which was amazing.
I was really tired but I could tell Phil really wanted to go, and I'm so glad I did!
It was amazing and we got some really cool pictures.
Tomorrow we're going to go back to the falls to see them during the daylight hours and then we're driving straight to Chicago. It was definitely weird to let a total stranger drive my car today, but already Phil and I are already comfortable with each other. I think sitting in a hot, sticky car together for 9 hours will do that to you. . .
I'm sorry if this doesn't make that much sense, but I've been up for 19 hours straight and didn't sleep much this week. I'm not sure how often I'll be able to update the blog, but I'll do my best. We're staying in a hostel in Chicago so I should have more updates tomorrow.
Miss you all already!
