Day two: We rented an orange ATV which Chad and I named Orangutan and Gloria (respectably). We drove all over the lower half of the island. We saw the lighthouse, monastery and the red beach, after the red beach, Chad taught me how to drive Gloria, from this moment on, Chad and I switched on and off the driving. Next we saw a traditional "settling" or village, drove along a road where grapes grow, went to a winery. The winery was not very informative, but we bought a bottle of white wine which was as light as drinking water. For lunch Chad and I went to a tavern for lunch that overlooked part of the island. We started off with the most amazing grilled octopus and red wine. For lunch, I had a traditional type of lamb that is slow cooked in a wax bag with fresh veggies. Chad had fillet minion with stuffed mozzarella cooked with rosemary.   Next we stumbled upon a magical place named the good heart. We walked in and the owner greeted us with an assortment of all her homemade goodies. There were olives, sun dried tomatoes, a sun dried tomato paste with capers, pickled bay leaves, and all sorts of flavored olive oils. She also let us try some of her homemade wine straight out of the barrel. We got a bottle of red wine and some sun dried tomato paste. We watched her pour the wine from the barrel into the bottle, cork it and put the label on it. Afterwards we drove home and opened the bottle of wine and ate the entire jar of what we now call "liquid crack" for dinner. Even though it was foggy, Chad, Gloria and I climbed back to the monetary (which is the highest point in the island) to watch the sunset. However it was very cold and the clouds prevented us from seeing the sunset. But we tried.
