Tuesday dawned bright and clear and COOL! We know that because we were awake at dawn!  That's what hhappens when you go to sleep early - you wake up early.

Once we had coffee and breakfast, Capt. Gerry and the Admirals cast off heading for Penobscot Bay.  Capt. Kelsey drove the land yacht Vagrant up the coast stopping at various lighthouses and a lobster roll lunch.  S/V Vagabond motored out of Boothbay Harbor, dodging lobster pots and the mooring fields.  We actually got to sail, for about 45 min. then the wind died and we had to motor the rest of the way.  We saw three lighthouses - Monhegen Light, Two Bush Light and Owl's Head Light and the highlight of the trip was the Minke whale and harbor seal that we saw and the harbor seal that greeted us in Rockland harbor on our way to pick up Capt. Kelsey.

Right now the temp is 78 degrees with a high expected in the low 80s.  No humidity!  Oh, my - such is life!
