Walking the short section of 9km between Hsyhai and Gangzai on a day that turned out to be completely different than the previous days - strong rain and storm instead of sunshine. A small coastal road connects the two villages, originally only for military use. Witness of this past are many abandoned military buildings along the way. We walked about half the way on road and half on the coastal sand and rocks.
