Well it is way too early for any fireworks of experiences other than to say I am excited and getting extremely impatient! I did a test run on packing my backpack yesterday, that is how ready I am to go and I still have 49 days left! A little history: I have never been outside the continental. So this is quite the experience from start to finish nothing but firsts all the way. Planning has been invigorating and frustrating and depressing all at the same time. From selling all my stuff (thanx for the company Tony!), getting shots, giving my cat away (thanx Brian!) planning my last month here (thanx Tim, Mark, Ian, and Kyle)to all the little details. I know everyone who doesn't know me is like "oh, God, here we go with the lists", well I won't go that far! I will say that so far I have spent @ $800 so far on shots and supplies. I'll be spending about $2000 on the plane tickets, and another couple hundred on camera, insurance, and random other items like an electric shaver (too hard to carry around a bunch of razors!) So please be patient with me and my entries! Fasten your seatbelts, it's going to be a bumpy ride!!
