Time for a short one after that mammoth of a blog for Prague. Ha that rhymes.

Well we left Prague and had 2 choices. Down towards the town of Plzen, and the home of Pilsner beer, or up towards Karlovy Vary, famous for its natural healing waters and its spas. We chose Karlovy Vary since Chris had had his fill of beer in Prague and Plzen was a little out of the way. We also hoped to maybe get some Spa time in but unfortunately fate was against us there. We arrived and the campsites we were looking for didn't seem to exist. We were lucky enough to follow some campsite signs that led us to one about 30 minutes out of the city and along the water. This campsite turned out to be a hunter’s lodge as well and much to our dismay we ate supper surrounded by animal heads and then walked back to our van only to notice a big dear hanging upside down with its guts dripping out. Not something nice to see right after breakfast! Or ever really! Before all the hunters could come out and admire their colleagues work we decided to head out. I still don’t understand how people can be so proud of luring an animal into an open space with food and then shooting it in the head. I mean if you wrestled it to the floor with your bare hands then good for you….if the dear had lasers for eyes then good for you….but seriously…you just shot an unknowing dear in the head….goooodddd jobbb!!! That’s my rant for the day!

Well after that we looked for the spas and couldn’t find where to go and then we looked for the tourist office and couldn’t find where to go and we looked for parking and couldn’t find where to go….overall Karlovy Vary was a bust for us so before the frustration set in we decided to head on out to our next destination. Life’s too short to look for parking!
