It was a quick drive from Nuremberg to Stuttgart so we decided to spend a few nights there. Stuttgart is famous for being the home of Porsche and Mercedes Benz. We decided to visit the Mercedes Benz museum and although Im not a big car person it was very fun seeing the evolution of the car. It was kinda frightening to learn how much involvemnet they had in World War II making planes for the Germans. They down played this of course but history is history and it did advance their technology quite a bit. They also had an exhibition of all the famous cars from movies or used by stars including The Pope Mobile, The Jurassic Park cars and Ringos car! We did a simulation of being in a racing car which was pretty fun! I could never drive that fast!

We stayed at a campsite the first night but had to leave since it was the site of Stuttgarts Oktoberfest. We got a hotel room outside of town and decided to enjoy a lil more Oktoberfestivities! This time we didn't join a beer tent but decided to eat our way around. We got Sausuage in a currysauce, Beavertail Pizza, Corn on the Cob and Smoked Salmon sandwiches. It was fun since everything had a twist to it and it was delicious. I must say there were more kids at this Oktoberfest then at the one in Munich and trhere were many 15 year olds drinking up a storm! They can all drink better then me Im sure...but we did see one of them yarp his brains out! Awesome!

Without much else to do in Stuttgart we decided to head back to Nuremburg and catch a hockey game before our departure to Vienna.
