Where I stayed
Hello everyone!
Today I am in Caen Normandy. Me and Chris left this morning in my Aunts car (Chris has gotten quite good at manual driving) and we are undertaking our first real road trip! We arrived in Honfleur (about 3 hours outside of Paris) and took in the beautiful sites! We went to the butterfly garden and we took many pictures...I have never seen so many colorful butterflies! The gardens are beautiful in the town and we took more pictures! I know you will all be sick of seeing flowers!
Afyter Honfleur we decided to drive into Caen to stay the nyt! We didnt want to pay the highway tolls (they are everywhere and they are expensive) so we took a detour with the help of GPS! The countryside in Normandy is beautiful and the houses range from old and dilapitated to pretty farm houses. The roads are all winding and a lil treacherous but Chris did a great job and we made it safe and sound! Caen is pretty quiet today I guess becasue it is Sunday and it seems that everything is closed! We got a cheap hotel which is surprisingly clean and cute! Tonight we relax and enjoy some dragonball z on the computer and tmr we go sightseeing!
So far so good and I've even gotten adventurous...thats right...I had an espresso this evening! I know right!!
Talk to you all later!
Goodnyt!
