Today its our 3rd day in New York city and it was up and atom for the new Harry Potter movie. 9:30 showing bright and early! I can't belive we not only made it to the cinema on time but we also had chance to get breakfast from mc donalds on the way. The time difference must have effected our body clock.

I thought it was a good film alot darker than the others. I thought it was weird as we arrived at the never ending theatrethat the movie had be clasified a 13. Which obviously weird to us as in the UK its a 12 there (at least i assume it is).

After the movie had finished at bout 12, we in our excited state decided that the Toys R us Ferris wheel located inside the store in Times Square was just too tempting to resist. You only live once and our childhood needed revisiting. So we paid our $4.50 (don't kill me mum) and stood in the queue amoungst the kids getting excited about what carriage we were going to be placed in. Turns out we were to go on the Mega Blocks Car, just behind my little pony skinny and bony. You actually got a good long ride for your money. You wouldn't believe how impressive the store looked, esp if you are used to Nottingham as i am.

After the all the excitment we set about on the everlasting mission which is finding a good place to eat. You wouldn't believe how much the prices change as you shop around. We ended up at a lovely deli shop which sold a wide variety of lunch options. Me and Nicky both went for pasta with plenty of veg, which i think outr bodies were crying out for around this time.

With our bellys full yet again we set off on a walk to F.A.O schwartz. Keeping the childhood theme for the day we looked around fasinated by all the toys. We obviously wanted to see the big piano again which we had played on 2 years ago, but decided this time we would leave the out of tune noise making the kids. I took some photos of the lego santa, then we decided we should go back to the hotel for a shower ready for night time adventures.

All wash and dresses and up to date, it was time to head out for cheesecake. Nicky couldn't decide whether or not to have one with her lunch as she knew she would not eat it, so i suggest we go later and then go out and see New York nightlife. Unfortunately us being us never made it past mc donalds, which we ended up in after the cheesecake was so sweet we needed some thing savory. We did get the cheese cake att a bargin price of $2.50 after a quote of $6.00 further up the street and a burger from maccy D's on buy one get one free. We called it a night after that we were so tired and also proud of the money we had saved. Forcing a $10 cocktail down didn't seem logical (always a first time).
