Our last town in Greece was where all the ancients went first prior to setting out on a great adventure. Set high in the mountains with a view of the distant sea with only 2 streets and steep cliffs above and below,Delphi is a beautiful mountain town. It is easy to see how one seeks wisdom in a place like this. Odysseus, Alexander the Great and many others have all come here for direction. Now we are too.
The ancient site is well preserved and it does not require the imagination to transport yourself back in time. The ancient sacred  way is paved with massive white stones and bound on both sides by alters, temples, and oracles. There is a large theater and stadium.
Infront of the treasury of Athens, Florence reads and finishes the Odyssey. It is a wonderful place to complete such a epic book.
Next we are off to Italy and the Roman empire is on the horizon

Delphi
It sounds like a magical place. Is there still an Oracle? Have a great time in Italy/Rome! Looking forward to your safe return. Love, the Bock Family

Boulder is green
We have had so much rain in Boulder that it is the greenest we have ever seen it. The creek is high and it is so fun to hear all the laugher of the tubers.
Yesterday was Allison's wedding and we loved seeing all of the relatives.
Today is Father's Day (congratulations Jack) and we are on our way over to the Erbens to celebrate this important day with them.
On to Italy and all that good Italian food.
Enjoy!
Love,
MOM

heading to italy
Krupnicks,

So, this week the youth from All Souls head to Taize which means we can begin to anticipate your return to the States. While I know you all have had a great trip, we are eager to have you all back with us.

We continue to receive rain, some of it rather rough with wind and some storm damage.

Peace,

Brian
