We got on the flight leaving SFO at 9pm and all four of us were aprehensive, but Maddy did great on the flight.. and the rest of us did too! She ate and played for a couple hours then and fell asleep most of the night and woke up happy at about 6am. Throughout the whole flight, she only cried a few times for mintue or so. We have so many good things to say about New zeland Air, I would go out of my way to fly their airline again sometime. The staff was super friendly and provided really amazing service, starting with the fact that they gave us the choice of a bulkhead basinet, or five seats all in a row with a spare seat for Madelyn. We chose the spare seat and it worked out great. After making flight from the US to Auckland with no problems, we had very little apprehension about the piddly 3 hour flight to Sydney. If only we had known...
