So last minute the day after my birthday, David & I decided to go to Northern Island. I quickly called a couple B&B's and reserved them and then the next day we left at 6:40 to head to Bushmills. It was a very long day of bus rides. I got off at the wrong station in Dublin and we only had a half hour to find the station we wanted so I had to ask a guy how to get there and we barely made it. Then in Belfast we were trying to find a different station when really we needed to be at the one we got dropped off at so we asked these guys working there and they told us our bus would be there in 10-15 minutes. Well we were hungry because it was 12:30 and we hadn't ate yet so we tried to hurry and go grab a sandwich, but we were too slow and missed our bus. So we had to wait an hour for the next bus and we kept asking those guys questions until they finally wrote down what town we should get off next. So we get off at this town in the middle of no where and sitting outside under a shelter and it has been pouring rain all day and it is really cold out. I decided it would be a good idea to ask the worker when the next Bushmills bus was. Good thing I did this because either the Belfast guys were sick of us and wanted to play a trick on us or didn't know what they were talking about, but we needed to be on the bus we had just go off because there was no other bus. So we had to wait an hour to get on the bus we had already been on. Switched buses again and finally at 5 we arrived in Bushmills. That night we didn't do much, but go out to eat and explore the town a little bit. Then the next day we got up and went to Bushmills in the morning and then walked to Giants Causeway that afternoon. Giants Causeway was really neat and you can see the cool rocks in my pictures! That night we hopped on another bus to Balleycastle and we got a amazing room at our B&B. We had 3 large bay windows over looking the ocean and from our window you could see Rathlin Island, Scotland, and some cliffs of Ireland. It was beautiful. That night we out to and eat then went to a pub and watch part of an Ireland soccer game and listened to a Blues Brother's Tribute band. The next day we woke up and went to Carrick-a-Rede rope bridge. It was extremely windy which made it that much more exciting. I don't think David liked walking across if very well. haha afterwords we ate an amazing carvery at a restaurant in a hotel. Then we left around 1:30 and finally made it home at 11 that night. It was a long weekend of traveling but well worth it.

no way
The giant's causeway looks really neat but the bridge....forget it...no way. There are just some places not meant for me to be and that's one of them! mom
