firstly i apologise for the lame title of this entry. The past week i've been chilling out in sosua and getting some spanish lessons from my friend gralia, i've found my flight i want to get to jamaica, i couldn't find a direct route but i'll now go via the USA, which i said i wouldn't go to whilst bush is president as i don't agree with the foreign policy but more importantly because it's fashionably to say that.. joke anyway i might take a few extra days in the land of the free to buy a new camera and check out what grand theft autos 'vice city' really looks like.

there's something about staying at rockys that makes me really lathargic, the food is great here, the internet is cheap, the bar here sells crisp cold beer and if i want a bit of nightlife i walk to the bar on the corner which classy looking bar maid that i've unsuccesfully tried to chat to, my chat up line was along the lines of "tu tienes novio?"

which shows up more than just my level of spanish..

another thing has been this f***ing travellers iq game on facebook, the photos on the previous enrty are some screenshots of the closest i got to a place.. I've spent a good few hours on it and it's more addictive than coke. i've only got into the top 25 scores once and that was because i was one of the first to play the newly added levels 11 and 12. I have have been here a week and only been to the beach once. When i did go i did have a great time using the skills i learnt on my padi to dive deep down the side of the reef and stay for a long time, and come up with pefect breathing control.

i want to leave the DR within a week, it will mean me missing out on climbing pico durant and seeing alot more places but i'm thinking i might miss that sumfest in montego bay if i don't get my arse into gear. the line up looks pretty hot but i'll have to sort out a reservation to stay there as it's ment to sell out and a onward flight to cuba in the next couple of days (i've heard the jamaican immigration is strict) to make it happen.
