sorry, the last entry was ment to be abridged but turned out long.. this one is a true summary of crap of got up to... and i'll keep it short..

the next morning i had to collect my hire car downstairs at 11am from the guys who drop it off.. still smelling of smoke, beer and vodka redbull i informed them that i would'nt be drinking and driving but he wasn't bothered if i did as long as i didn't hit anything or anyone one.. the car was appaently mid-sized family car... what i got was the tinyest dhiatsu thing in the world but he informed me it's in that class because it had 4 doors.. the cost was $310 bajan for 3 days.. the offer was but 2 get 1 free..so basically over the next 3 days me and my navigator mark, and i did need a map reader as there are NO ROADSIGNS on this island.. i'm lying there i think they have about five dotted about between the 5 biggest roundabouts, but really no useful ones.. well we managed to get over to the far westcoast to see bathsheeba beach and the surfers there.. it wasn't really worth the long drive as theres fuck all there apart from a tiny bar that at the time we was there had some weird crackhead girl trying to sell us bracelets.. she head a cracking arse for a crackhead but i didn't want to communicate to much with her so left in the darkness back to the guesthouse, day 2 got me to st. philip to see crane beach which has an amazing clifftop view resturant/hotel an lovely beach and water after that tried to get to the harrisons cave but it is closed for refurbishment (probably cementing new rock formations such as a cricket bat and ball in place for the cricket world cup tourists to be amazed by.. i can imagine a guide coming out with "look, the cave naturally formed a brian lara face if you look up there")next was an attemt to summit mt. hilaby which is the highest point on the island but ended up finding out where the local dump was due to the lack of signposts.. after a needy refill we headed up to speighstown for a bite to eat then to the most northern point where were looking for the lighthouse at harrison point but was out of bounds because they have relocated all the prisoners up there due to them burning their last one down last year..

we got back midway south to watch the dutch equalise against england then headed home for a drink at what is now my local pub the watering hole and then a free drinks night (plus cover charge) at the boatyard..

next day was a trip to surfers point, another probably failed attempt at summiting mt. hilaby.. i drove around for a couple of hours up every small path, dead end and dodgyly laid road in the highlands so may heave done it, i doubt i'll ever know.. that night i went to the watering hole where i was sexually assaulted by an overweight guyanese who liked to attempt and fail the dutty wine and was bashing her big arse so hard against me, i started on one side of the bar and ended on the other side before i nearly fell out the door.. not to mention when she turned round to dance with the unwilling me my tshirt was soaked from her big belly and the couple of pints of sweat attached to it.. on the way home i managed to get a number of a cute guyanese girl who worked at a late night food stall, i didn't ask for it but when i said jokingly "you'll have to write your name down as i've forgetten it already" i was presented on tissue her name and number.. i was left with differenting thoughts off the guyanese girls..

btw the guyanese get a rough deal in the press over here, when i'm reading the daily nation the are attacked daily.. even though when they talk about court reports it's always bajans.. and there is hardly any mention of how the guyanese are filling jobs in construction getting the country ready for the CWC (cricket world cup).. and of course serving up filling marlin sandwiches and burgers to tourists along st.lawrence gap..

the next night i went to oistins fish market for some flying fish and cou-cou which is the national dish then later over to lexxies bar for a few of the national beer.. the place was empty as they've move all the old fish shacks over the road to knock them down to build un-charismatic concrete ones ready the the CWC.. saturday was horse racing day, i managed to get 2 winners, one which was a forecast which paid me 50 dollars for my 2 dollar stake, my mate mark managed to catch seconditis.. having also 2 winners (one of them being the last race which ment waiting an extra half an hour after everyone had gone to collect his winnings) and 4 seconds.. which i was quite impressed with, the next day we got a bbq on the beach and night night at the watering hole which i had the highlight of my day. This quiet guy asked helena (the short girl who runs it) where is the toilet? she points to him it's round the corner, as he attempts to go for the door he hasn't looked down at the steps and is suddenly face down on the floor with no reaction time to put his hands out to slow his fall.. whilst he is still coming to terms what the fucks just happened to him, a very straight helena pops who head under the bar and tells him "mind the step" and then gets back to work.. the guy managed to get up with help from his friend, went to the toilet and sharply left.
