I will be traveling with one 35ltr backpack, I'm happy with the size for now.. it's small enough to keep from separation and more secure during transits where it should hopefully be on my lap, take to the loos still on my back and to look smug infront of travelers with their 75ltr back breakers. It's also big enough to get all my essentials in and not have to carry another external daypack with me. the bag i'm planning on using for dayouts can be rolled up to next to nothing and stuff in my 35ltr bag when not needed.

i might take a duffel bag of extra clothes just for the cruise as i don't really want to look too much of a backpacker on there, then i'll drop it off in a charity shop in Barbados.. that's if they have them over there..
