Arrived in El Paso early; I was able to stand-by on the 4:10 flight. Once I picked up my bags, my professor had reached El Paso, so the timing couldn't have been better. We ate dinner at a really good Mexican restaurant before hitting the road. We listened to the Georgia/Virginia Tech game up the road; what a great come-back! (especially since I missed Texas Tech's comeback yesterday). We've stopped at a hotel in Socorro for the night and I'll finally be in Albuquerque tomorrow (briefly, as we're scheduled to stay in Santa Fe tomorrow night).
