Anyway. I was born here in Chicago- decades ago. You can look up the exact location on Google Earth. I was only in Chicago for a few days and then left - with my parents to live at home in New York City.
Later in life I was able to return to Chicago and work for among others Mayor Jane Byrne who I liked very much. Others include Fast Eddie Vrdolyak and more. I bought an apartment in Chicago. I think the friendliest people on earth live in that city - with the exception of most cities in Australia. But in the US - if you want to make friends -do it in Chicago if you fail everywhere else. The only problem there for me is that everyone is pretty much a racist. This is changing slowly - but backpeddled when the idiot Bush hit office almost seven years ago. Whites and Blacks are racists - but the Blacks have an excuse. So I forgive them.
Best thing in Chicago -Food! Especially beef - spare ribs - and some beers. the Lake is wonderful. Take a boat ride. Meet a girl or guy. Go have fun - it's a great place to do that!
