Drove across the deserts of Arizona on our way to Mexico.  Not to much to write about yesterday.  Stopped for a shower and lunch at El Dorado Hot Springs just outside of Buckeye.  To our surprise we had stumbled across what appeared to be the local nudest colony.  We didn't actually realize it was a nudest place till I asked where to take the showers.  The lady lead me back to this court yard that had at least half a dozen thermal bathtubs and a couple of showers.  She warned me at this time I could see nude people and the shower wasn't fully private.  Well I hadn't seen anyone at this place since we pulled in so I proceeded to have a quick shower.  When it was Dan's turn I passed on the nudest message the lady had told me and showed him back through the maze of fencing to the courtyard.  Needless to say by now there where some people soaking in the tubs...All said and done by the time we pulled out of there the parking lot was almost full. We saw one too many desert snakes and bushes that day. We camped in Cactus Sate Park for the evening.

Made it across the border today.  Up at the crack of dawn to get an early morning start.  Didn't find the border crossing line as long as expected.  Our stress level when up when we saw two other sets of Canadians ahead of us get refused entry due to incomplete paperwork.  Lucky we had all ours in order.  Currently in San Carlos.  Camping right across the street from the beach.  Planning on spending a couple days here before moving on.

Desert snakes and bushes!
Sounds like an adventure you did not plan on...

Boston weather is getting cooler and cooler. Sunny but windy-- I'm already cold and it isn't even freezing. We just sent Toronto Dawn back home this afternoon; she was here with us for the week while attending a conference. Lots of fun with her, although a bit confusing, as you can imagine. (Hence, the 'Toronto' Dawn title.)

Sonds like you guys are missing some snow back home.
I'm sure you are torn up over that!

Thanks for the updates--hugs to Haley!
