Another fine day ,but sun is slow to get up! Another valley to camp in!!There was still a breeze from the east like home!! We lay about in the sun for a while .Apparently an earthquake here at 7.03 am so looks like we slept through it!!

Big day out in Napier today. Which turned out to be really good place. Very art deco (surprise, I think not), A lot of buildings built in the early 1930s for obvious  reasons. the city has plenty of cafes ,like the one we lunked at!!

A good feed was had by all, including the sparrow. A cheeky Sparrow got close to Annemieke ,so she hand fed it!! Twice!! Then some city centre photos and shopping. Some bargains to be had!!!

Off to the beach, and the information centre where I saw all the wineries I could visit. Like Church road and trinity hill and sacred  hill, and  Vidall , Matua  Esk Valley. In fact 74 to choose from!!!So many vineyards and so little time!!!

Oh yeer the beach was really good. Much better than sand dunes at New Brighton !! Still the same old  Easterley!!! Only warmer ,but not a really warm wind if you can understand me!!Like sunken garden (sheltered) and alot of hedges and other landscaping. But the rows of Norfork like pines. That really set the scene. Not a swimming beach though!!

A bit of a mission getting around  the show as the hills and curvy roads tend to throw our sense of direction!!But we got there and back in the end.

Back at camp decided to crank up the new barbeque . Took a while to get hot, then went really well. In  fact a bit too  well. I have to get used to it!!But in the end the food was edible LOL!!!Now chilling with a  drink. So going to rolax now!!!

See you tomorrow!!
