We went out for the evening in Atlanta, had a meal and a couple drinks in, wuld you believe, and English bar. I had Bangers & Mash, Rob had Fish & Chips (with no bones!)(no mushy peas either!). Brits abroad!!! as we're discovering the food prices to eat out are very reasonable, however the alcohol is not!! not going to be getting drunk very often in USA, boo!! The friends we've made here Neisha & Priscillia met us there later and we had a really nice evening talking together. There was another girl who was a little, strange, first she said she was from France, but Priscillia is from France and said she wasn't, then she said she was from Spain, but she was very rude to me when I tried my spanish out on her, so we think, not spanish either... she did keep laughing though.
The day after we (Rob, Priscillia & I) went into the city and did the tourist thing, Neisha set off in her car on the next leg of her journey (let us know how it goes Neisha). We had heard that the Aquarium was really good so despite the $24 each entry we went. It was well worth it (see the pics - I've had to restrain how may I put on here, went crazy with the camera) they had some really good touch pools, I touched rays, some strange crab like animal, big shrimp, and some small sharks (can't remember the name). Then we saw Sealions, penguins and the most amazing Beluger Whales. Got some fab video of these. The nice thing was that the tanks were massive and everything had plenty room to swim about.
We had lunch in a Manderin restaurant - $7 all you can eat buffet!!!
After that we went on the CNN tour, it was quite good but we weren't allowed to take photo's!
We called in at Publix (the supermarket) and got supplies for the greyhound, we got jelly with fruit in... yum yum!
We then went back and packed and got the overnight greyhound to Washington D.C. nearly 15 hours!!
