Hiya, we still haven't left the country yet but just had to share the amazing time we had scuba-diving at the Farne Islands on Sunday 3rd June. After an iffy start (the fog was so bad we didn't think the boat would go out) we did our first dive at a wreck, we went to about 9m and took a disposable underwater camera, which Rob quickly took charge of! we got loads of pictures of crabs and other sea stuff (can't spell enenamies ??) The second dive was in a bay called The Kettle and it had about 30 sealions swimming in it. In we went.... at first there was the odd sighting where a little curiously they can near, we got a couple of photos but then ran out of film (very frustrating). In the next area we went to there were quite a few playing and they came over to us to play. There was one, I've called Fred, who was very friendly. He had his head in my hand and with my other hand I was stroking his chest and belly, cute!!! he kept trying to bite our hands and fins, then he went and played with Rob, they were nose to nose then Fred tried to bite his mask then his head so Rob had to push him off ! It was the most amazing experience, I just wish we'd had more film in the camera... Well the rest of the world has a lot to live up to now! Ta ta for now Cris and Rob x
