Today was basically a moving day. We checked out of our hotel in Vegas & caught a flight to JFK airport in New York. It was around a 6 hour flight, and with the 3 hour time difference we arrived at our hotel at around 8.00pm. The hotel is ideally situated as it is central to Times Square, 5th Avenue & Broadway.

After unpacking and getting sorted we went for a stroll up to Times Square. It seemed really busy as there people everywhere. Not sure if this is normal or not, but it was a Friday night and there is a public holiday on Monday here due to Columbus Day, so that may have swelled the numbers.

We grabbed some Italian & Indian food "to go" (see, I'm getting used to all the yank lingo), and we eagerly await our 1st full day of New York exploring tomorrow.

The bestest place yet
Well maybe not for the smaller ones......
But it certainly was my favourite place of the three, so can't wait to hear your adventures. Enjoy New York. Well wait Disneyland was fabulos... Now can't decide. Love Col XXOO
