Our final day at Disneyland was mixed with a lot of pleasure and some sadness as our magical journey full of fun and rides has come to an end. Being a Saturday there was a lot more people than previously, including a sea of gay people wearing red T-shirts emblazened "Gay Days 09 - Anaheim", amongst some other interesting slogans.
We tried a few times to get onto the Indiana Jones ride, but they were having technical issues and although we got close to the front of the line, we didn't quite make it.
We crossed off most of the rides and attractions we hadn't yet done, but unfortunately we didn't get to do Space Mountain as there was an almost 2 hour wait.
We had lunch at the Blue Bayou restaurant, which the Pirates of the Caribbean ride goes through. It is themed as if you are eating at night, with the boats from the ride just floating past.
The highlight of our final Disneyland day was without a doubt the show called "Fantasmia" that was performed on the lake near Frontier Land at around 10.30pm tonight. It was an amazing sound, light & water spectacular that went for around 1/2 hour with fireworks & other brilliant special effects. Everyone was just amazed was good the show was.
Tomorrow we head of for the adults playground - :Las Vegas, where I intend to win sooooooo much moula that I'll be happy to pay excess baggage for the new suitcase stuffed full of cash !!!

Enjoy the next leg .......
How lovely it all sounded. Enjoy your next leg to Loss Wages (a pun on Las Vegas). Love Col.
Making me envious!!!
Hi Knipe family
What a wonderful time you have had in Disneyland. Just got back to work today after 2 fantastic weeks in Tasmania. Not quite as warm as LA by the looks of it!!! So nice to read of your exciting adventures. Makes me want to jump on a plane! Good luck in Las Vegas Hel!
What no time for blog ?
General consensus is you must be winning big to not have time to blog !
Hi Knipes
I hope you are having a blast in Vegas. There's still time to hire some Nana jeeps to go up and down the strip. I'm sure you can put Diddy in the basket on the front.
Luv from Cath
