Hi guys, this is a sad occassion... do you know why? Im afraid this shall be my LAST blog before I return to the UK and see all you little gremlins again. So this is going to be an emotional bit of writing for me, I shall try to be brave.

Quite a while since Iv updated you... right... OK well after I last wrote we went to the Desert and there we went Dune buggying, which is just like driving a massive quad bike over massive dunes of sand as fast as you can... I was screaming all the way and it was very funny. We also did sand boarding which is like going on a skateboard head first down an almost verticle sand dune. It was pretty awesomeee! That night we slept in the desert.

We then went to Lima which is the capital of Peru but I was quite poorly and was pretty much bed ridden for the whole time we were there. It wasnt a good looking city anyway so I didnt really mind. We then headed for the beath at Punta Sal where we camped for 3 nights. This was so amazing. The sea was so warm, but there were dead jelly fish in it that everyone kept throwing at me. I didnt find it very funny, but everyone else did so that was nice. We spent alot of time playing volley ball and playing cards and it was really chilled out. On the last day we had a hog roast, like a full on pig which we cooked over a fire and then tared apart. It was such a good day.

We then headed into Ecuador, which I quickly decided was my favourite country. Imagine all the trees in the world in one place... I kept remarking on the great number of trees and that made everyone think I was even more stupid! We stayed at this amazing camp site in Rio Verde and we went on some hikes (unfortunately I left my hiking hat behind both times but one time I used a big leaf as a substitute)... and went on these dodgey cable car things and I also did canyoning which was really cool.

Next came the AMAZON JUNGLE. We took a canoe thing to our base and there we did tubing, hiking and went to an animal rescue place. There was a trantula within ten inches of me when I was happily reading a book which was quite scary, and we saw poisonous spiders and everyone else saw a snake. There was the best monkey ever called Mona who constantly attacked us all but in a nice way... and she was really mischievous, she took a special liking to one of our guys and went nuts when he hugged his girlfriend, it was very entertaining.

When we left Rio Verde we went white water rafting in Tena and this was one of my favourite activites so far. I was pushed out several times which was fun... and the other raft with half of Oasis in capsized and everyone fell out! They painted our faces with all these natural muds aswell and I look like a loonatic... well, like more of a loonatic than usual!

I am currently in Otavalo and we head to Quito tomorrow where I shall spend my last couple of days. We stopped at the actual line of the equator yesterday which was cool. Iv had such an amazing time and Iv met some great people and I am very sad to leave. But at the same time I am excited to see everyone again and find out what Iv been missing out on back home.
