What an incredible time it has been in Stavanger. I don't really know what I expected when I left Calgary last September but the time in Norway, the travelling we have done and most of all the friends we have made makes it really hard to say goodbye.

It has been such a great opportunity to live in another city and experience another culture and language. We will have lots of stories to smile and laugh about for many years to come.

On Friday evening we had a farewell party with most of our friends here. It was lots of fun and we received wonderful gifts...Norwegain cookbook, Stavanger Oilers sweater, and a scrapbook detailing our year here.

Kevin and I have so many memories from this past year and hope that you have enjoyed reading about them on the travelblog.
