Today, we skyped with a 3rd grade class at Erie Elementary in Clinton Township, Michigan. Clinton Township is a suburb of Detroit and is where Savannah's cousin teaches. Mrs. Dominski and her students shared a little bit about life in snowy Michigan. When we skyped, it was 43 degrees in Kennesaw and only 30 degrees there. There is snow every where! It seemed funny to them that we have had only about 5 inches of snow and had 5 snow days. Five inches of snow is normal for them, and they have only had 2 snow days this year. During the majority of our skype, we shared about life in Georgia. The third graders took turns asking us about things such as common animals and pets. I think that they learned life is Georgia is not very different from life in Michigan, except that it is warmer in the South.
