Again another chilly start this morning, but I must say my new heater works much better than the old one so we were all nice and toasty in the van and not keen to get out.

With only 420km to travel to Swan Hill today we were meandering along and pulled out around 10.00am. Driving this morning we will manage to cross three states in a few hours, thats a bit of trivia for you !!!

I have stocked up on the car staples again as it will be straight to Swan Hill with only the necessary stops this morning. Kids are well into movie mode and I actually get internet in the car this morning, so will knock over some m2 work on the way.

We arrived at the Big 4 in Swan Hill about  2.30pm and the kids took off to do the usual. Jumping pillows and recreation rooms are high on their list these day, It used to be straight to the pools when up north, needless to say their requirements have changed a little with the change in weather conditions
 .
We adults are so used to setting up it doesnt even bother us now, and we seem to get the obligatory vodka in hand much quicker than in the early part of our holiday, old pros !!

It was only 13c outside so Tim, Zoe and I decided to go into town and have a look around, Its a quaint little town Swan Hill,. We wandered around the pioneer village and paddle steamers etc..,we will have to come back for a weekender when the weather is a little warmer.

Upon our arrival back at camp, Shaz informed me that we ladies were on strike for our last night and "we are going to have Take Away for dinner. " I  have learnt earlier in the holiday not to argue with Shaz when she is on a mission, so I said to myself "Self, what a great idea, take away it is!!"

Tim and I found a great little noodle restaurant so it was 6 different varieties of noodles to cater for 8 peoples needs and good old Alby had pizza. The  noodles were sensational !!!  Sitting in the camp kitchen we were reflecting on our trip, we have travelled over 12,000 kms, hard to believe.

As the kids were getting ready for bed they were discussing what they were looking forward to getting home to the most, Josh firmly stated Tilly first and Nanna and The Simms were close second and third!! ( He is such a Nannas boy !!)

We are all now looking forward to home, a warm house, Tilly and family ...........
