We enjoyed the bike so much we decided to do a 2 day road trip to Tat Lo, with a lot of waterfalls along the way.
After our first stop, a big black cloud came in and all of a sudden we were "in" the cloud. The rain was so heavy and so cold, we were drenched within seconds, but there was nowhere or nothing to shelter us from it so we just kept going! After a while the rain stopped and we stopped shivering..We got to Tat Lo, dried our clothes and went to see a waterfall nearby. as soon as we got there, the rain started again!
The next morning, we went to another impressive waterfall, you can walk on top of it during the dry season, but it can be deadly if you don't look where you're going!
The drive back to Pakse was beautiful. There is a strech of the road which is just dirt and potholes but there is nobody in sight and the landscape is amazing. We passed by a village where they build their own coffin and keep them under their houses until the day has come to use them...
