Alrighty all,
So should probably wrap this thing up as I realized I kind of left it hanging. This will be my final entry in this travel diary of what has been a fantastic, amazing experience and I'll just summarize very, very briefly how it all finished up, as I really don't recall all the specifics of it now!

From Port Macquarie I headed down to Sydney, where I stayed for about a week. While there I checked out all the major sites: The opera house, the harbour bridge, byron bay, manly, the botanical gardens, hyde park and Darling Harbour. I saw a film at the worlds largest theatre, visited the chinese gardens and spent a lot of time with a starbucks in hand (yay!!) writing away in front of sydney harbour. It's a lovely city and I'm very glad I took the time and money to go and visit it (originally I was going to cut it short due to time and financial constraints). I stayed in a 10 bed hostel for the week which was actually really great, with really fun people.

I took an overnight bus back up to Brisbane at the end of the week as my flight was already booked out of there. I stayed in Brisbane for 3 days. I checked out the story bridge, the bookshop, and just the general city. Didn't do anything too exciting, just relaxed before my long flight home.

Traveling home seemed quicker than getting to Australia, maybe because I knew what to expect. Either way, it's nice to be home. Settled back in very easily, like I never left, and I have plenty of craziness to keep me busy for awhile.

Thank you all for joining me in my adventures online. I wish I could've shared it with you in person but just the fact that you took the time to catch up with my travels means the world to me.

And of course all the best to those of you who are on, or leaving for, your own trip of a lifetime, be it Australia or otherwise. Good luck, be safe, and soak up every moment you can!

Kirstin

p.s. For those of you who I know, and have my facebook, I'm posting the previous and remaining photos on there to view.
