Today started out early and smoothly. We were on the road at 5:45 am, and scheduled to make Amarillo around 7:30 pm - that was until the transmission had different ideas shortly after noon and just east of Tulsa, Oklahoma. We are currently in a motel in Catoosa, Oklahoma near a casino. With our unbounding luck today, Jim decided we would NOT go anywhere near the casino. We are still waiting to hear whether we are going to be here just tonight, or longer. It will depend on what the problem is with the transmission, and whether parts need to be ordered. Of course, today is Friday, so if parts are needed we are in trouble! Stay tuned.....
