So, we traveled on the train from Rabat back to Marrakesh, 4.5hours. It was 43°!!!
Next we got a 30hour bus to Dakhla, from where we needed to somehow cross the border. The journey was fairly uneventful, only to say Kk got chatting to some people from on the bus while I read my book. Upon arriving in Dakhla Kk's new found friends insisted upon showing us to a hotel they new. It was all very nice but was a bit more expensive than we could afford, at which point they insisted we stay with them. In a turn for the surreal they housed us for 3days and 2nights, feeding us constantly, dressing us up in traditional clothes and showing us around their town. Their hospitality was amazing and lavished us with gifts, as to remember our stay. One of the gifts was a home made stained glass window which we are now carefully lugging around!
