If your thinking about visiting.. DON'T!
Ciudad Del Este is a city on the boarder of Brazil which escaped tax laws etc. The third biggest trading city of its kind in the world. Long story short, I wanted to buy a camera but couldn't find the right one. This is possibly the worse city Ive ever been to in my life. It consisted of everything I hate in society. Even the hotel I was staying in had monkeys in a small cage for humans to oww and ahh over in between drinks, making me feel sick inside....
I could have visited the second biggest dam in the world, Itaipu. However its construction destroyed a waterfall which was so spectacular it left Iguazu in its dust. I didn't want to contribute or be apart of such human destruction, in the need to consume energy. How about decreasing the population instead of over using our resources? Basic mathematics.. you only have to look at past civilisations that fell before ours, to see to occurring pattern...
But if I really want to learn how they work etc, I know have an excuse to visit the China one day, it has the biggest, suprised? I wasnt.
However never judge a country by its border town.

i'm sorry, this is what i feel.
To me this is the worse city I have ever been to in my life.
Thanks for your opinion, but what I was after wasn't released anywhere in south america at the time.
