What can I say, Prague is incredible. The medieval buildings are beautiful and creepy. Just my thing. Started the day rehydrating and filling my belly with bread. Feeling so much better than yesterday. In retrospect I think I had exhausted myself and brought on a panic attack. So after a 9 hour sleep with the help of my dependable friend Xanax I woke up in pretty good shape.

Started out with a walk to the Prague Castle. It was a nice uphill hike. The stairs almost killed me. How am I still out of shape? Anyway, this area has lots of old buildings worth visiting. I checked out the cathedral, old royal palace, St George's basilica, and the Golden Lane. Lots of history, lots of great photo opps, and great view of the city.

Next I took the "kings walk" into town. Walked down Nerudova street (super cute), visited St Nicholas Church, crossed Charles Bridge, down Karlova alley to old town square, and then on to the powder tower.

Walked past the Josefov cemetery but unfortunately it was closed. Next time I guess. Took a stroll back over the bridge to Kampa Island. Saw some creepy baby sculptures and lots of kids running around.

Decided to climb Petrin Hill before dark. As if I wasn't tired enough I punished my feet and legs with countless stairs and inclines. It was worth it though. I met a wonderful couple from Mexico. We finished the hike to the top together and climbed a tower. More stairs!!!! After that we walked through a mirror maze and visited a psychedelic art cavern. They invited me to hang with them so we hit the lounge in their hotel. It was really nice. Had dinner and Czech beer and called it a night.

I'm going to miss Prague. I think this has been my favorite stop so far. I will have to come back, if not on this trip some other time.
