Decided maybe from the train station I'll hop another train to Kutna Hora and check out the Sedlac Ossuary. It's gotta be spook central. Monks decorated it with the bones of over 40,000 plague victims. I would be crazy not to see this.
Speaking of plague, I think I caught one in Berlin. Sore throat, hope it passes soon.
Whoa! Ran across the train station to catch my next train. Hopped on when the door was closing. It takes skills to almost miss a train as much as I do.
The Ossuary was spooky! Talk about the perfect time of year to see this. Walking around I noticed that this place smells like raisin bran. Hmmm...Stopped to eat afterwards before heading back to Prague.
Checked in to my hostel which is really personal and cozy. Grabbed a map and headed out. Checked out the victims of communism memorial and walked to town.
At this point I felt my face get very warm. I kept walking and started getting stabbing pains in my stomach. Next I was nauseous and lost. Heard two women speaking English and flagged them down. Next thing I knew I had my head in a garbage can. Nice huh? These women were from San Fran and my moms away from home. They got me ginger ale, bread, directions to my hostel, and even walked me back there. They actually offered to get me a hotel room so that I could be more comfortable and have my own bathroom. I cried my eyes out at their generosity and comfort. I chose to stay in my hostel and to get some good sleep. I promised I would check in with them tomorrow. Seriously these women were saints and super cool. I will never forget them.
