Where I stayed

I've had "Pass the Dutchie" stuck in my head for the past 3 days. Amsterdam was definitely interesting. Never walked into a gift shop and found sex toys next to windmills before but I guess that kind of diversity is what makes this city unique.

Man, for as many pics as I have taken a lot of my adventure here has been undocumented ie the sex museum, the red light district, and the coffee shops (for obvious reasons). Use your imagination.

I popped into a second hand shop and noticed a Soledad Brothers button. Turns out the shop owner is also friends with the band and other Detroiters! Small world! Another friend made!

Things I noticed:
So far it's the only place where I see people wearing sweat pants

There is construction everywhere making It hard to enjoy certain buildings and walks (or take good pics)

The metro sucks but the trams are great!

Where are the homeless people?? This city is a fair size and I don't see anyone sleeping on the street or in a corridor. I'd say that's a sign that they take care of their people...or dump them in the canal.

This city is bigger than I thought and everyone rides a bike here. Neat!! Some people pack two or three kids into their bikes! No helmets either! Old school.
