The Camelback Inn (A JW Mariott Resort & Spa) is where we stayed. It's a really nice place. The lobby is gorgeous with it's sophisticated Southwestern decor. We had a casita, which was just beautiful and quite big.
The only thing I didn't like about the hotel is that it's very spread out, which is good in that the casitas have privacy, but bad when it's blazing hot and you want to go anywhere on the property. You feel like you're stranded in the desert and have to walk miles in the heat to get to cover.
To cool down, we had Smoothies at Sprouts, the spa restaurant.
We ate dinner this night at the nice restaurant on property, The Chaparral. DD was kind of fussy, which was unusual, so we asked to be moved to a secluded table to not disturb the other diners, although there weren't too many in the restaurant. Our waiter was very nice, and moved us to this great table that was all by itself over at the edge of the dining room, near the bar with shelves of books behind it. We ended up having a wonderful dinner.
