Shopping at Target (pretty exciting, huh?) ;) Picked up my copy of the new Harry Potter book.
We had lunch at mom and dad's. Mom made my favorite hometown meal: roast and potatoes. Had a nice, relaxing lunch with them. Just hung out. My sister and niece's dd came over. So the kids had fun playing.
We then went to pizza (we had planned last week to do a redo of our pizza night). So my mom and dad went this time, my sister, my other niece and the kids. DNT had to work so she couldn't make it since she wouldn't get off in time. But it was nice. Mountain Mike's has the best pizza!
Went to my sister and niece's house to visit. It was nice just sitting around the dining table and talking. The kids stayed the night at my sister's and DNT's, much to the kids' delight.
Went back to the hotel and got things organized. At least we didn't have to worry about fitting things in suitcases and making sure the "liquids and gels" got into the right bags. Guess that's the good thing about driving.
Watched t.v. until midnight about Taboo foods on the National Geographic channel...people eating duck embryos, bats, tarantulas and such. I couldn't look during the tarantula bit...arachniphobia ya know. Ick!
