Then it was time for me to go to the spa. Woot! I had the Coastal Trio, which consisted of a eucalyptus salt scrub (takes off 2 layers of dead skin cells), then a Dead Sea Mud wrap (gets out the toxins), then a moisturizer is massaged in to rehydrate the skin. It was heavenly. Unfortunately, I didn't have time to relax in the lounge or work out afterwards.
I met DH for lunch at the little coffee place. Had a ham and cheese croissant and capuccino at our little bistro table we liked last year that looks out towards the pool and ocean. It's such a beautiful view. It allowed for more people watching too, as everyone comes through that way.
After that it was time to shower and get dressed for the Regatta. We were on a large ship like last year. This one was even bigger, though, at 82 feet. It is called the Curlew. We actually had some wind, so the race was on. We had a fun time.
When we got back, there was another conference cocktail hour, then dinner. Dinner consisted of the following:
Salad: Limestone lettuce, shaved Maui onion, marinated tomatoes, creamy taragon dressing.
Entree: Grilled beef tenderloin & braised Nova Scotia lobster with spinach mashed potatoes, merlot reduction and chervil butter.
Dessert: Vanilla dome with chocolate mousse, soft caramel sauce.
The best part was that it was annouced at dinner that our boat won in our class...woot! We all had our picture taken as a group and got to take home flags. :)
